Sunita Chauhan |
Todd Merlin |
Nick Feast |
SUNITA CHAUHAN
‘LEENA’
Sunita has been involved in the domestic violence field for three years and took part in the film to raise awareness with other agencies. Sunita’s other interests include attending regular dance classes, learning an Indian musical instrument and voluntary work. Heads is Sunita’s first professional film, and we hope it won’t be her last.
TODD MERLIN
‘POLICE OFFICER’
Hailing from Australia's capital of country music, Tamworth in North West New South Wales, Todd is the lifeblood of Brent's Community Safety Team. He enjoys socialising, watching sports and finding new uses for office equipment. After a day of filming, Todd feels that he may have found his calling and we believe that it would be an insult to the industry not to unleash his talent to a global audience.
NICK FEAST
‘PROSECUTOR’
Another recruit from Brent Community Safety Team, Nick's previous acting experience includes roles as a tree, an overweight rugby player and a headmaster. When asked about his involvement in the Heads he commented, 'I did enjoy the day, I just felt sorry for my more experience acting colleagues!!' We think we did a pretty good job.

Maureen Flannery |
Mariah Louca |
Nenita Tumalad |
Christopher Dancel |
MAUREEN FLANNERY
‘DISTRICT JUDGE’
Maureen has come from a very diverse work background, starting at 16 years old, and having more jobs than most people. This has led her into many different areas, but her early interest in films was supported by working for nearly 10 years in Wardour Street, home of the independent film industry. Maureen’s current role as the Senior Community Safety Manager for Brent Council came out of a passion to be able to make a difference. Maureen previously worked for the Home Office, Crime Concern, Nacro and Islington Council, where she began to understand the issues around domestic violence and how as individuals and organisations we can begin to make a difference.
MARIAH LOUCA
‘WITNESS SERVICES OFFICER / LEGAL BENCH CLERK’
Mariah is trained at BSA Actor Training. Mariah joined the production with a few days notice. On the first day of filming, Mariah arrived from her home town of Sheffield, was given a tour of the court by Witness Services and asked to replicate it. We are grateful to Mariah for her commitment to the project.
CHRISTOPHER DANCEL
‘PROBATION OFFICER’
Christopher trained at Sylvia Young Theatre School. His extensive experience includes a role in the film The Saint, as well as modeling assignments and corporate films, including one for the Children With AIDS charity, and idents for children’s television show, Diggit.
NENITA TUMALAD
'POLICE LIAISON OFFICER'
Nenita has the (un)enviable task of being Rochelle and Christopher Dancel’s mother. This is her first experience of working on a film set and is keen to see her children actually doing some work.
